		<description>The slab will be the hard disc.  If there is no important data on it take it apart, you may find some very strong magnets inside which are fun to play with :)

		<description>I have just dismantled an old PC expecting to find something that looked like a hard disc. I can find nothing like it, unless it is sealed inside a slab that I cannot open, the size of which is about 5 inches by 4 inches. Could that be it?

Your hard disc is an interesting antique piece, I assume from the days when they were much larger than now.
